Well, as many of my avid readers know, I have held out getting a cell phone for many years. However, this past Saturday, I finally broke down and bought one. Here are the top two responses from the people I have told:
  • "Welcome to the new millennium" / "Welcome to the 21st century"
  • "I knew once you got a girlfriend you would get a cell phone"
I still think that it's a waste of money, but then in a couple of months I probably won't be able to imagine life without one.

That's what I thought when I first got one. 'What's the point'. After I lost my most recent one, I was pondering on not going with one (to save money)..but found it too inconvenient still.
